The city offers several ways that you can make your bill payment as easy as possible.
City Of Longmont Bill Pay Options
Online Account Access
With Longmont’s Online Account Access www.ci.longmont.co.us, you are able to view all of your utility information in one place. Before using this service you will need to register. To register you will need to provide your customer number on your billing statement. You will also need to provide your social security number that is on file with the company. Commercial customers will need to call the utility building and provide the staff with their PIN. If you have not already signed up for an Online account you can do so by going here.
Once you have registered for your account you will be able to view all of your utility information such as Account information, payment history, financial information, electric usage, water usage, online statements and pay your bill. In order for this to work properly and to be able to view your online account without any problems you may need to install the Java Plug in on your computer. If you do not have it installed you will receive a warning to do so. Just follow the instructions provided.
Paying with Credit or Debit
Longmont offers four ways for customers to pay using their credit or debit cards. The first way is to set up you Online Account Access www.ci.longmont.co.us. Second, customers may sign up for reoccurring payments from their credit/debit accounts. This way will ensure that your payments are made automatically the same time each month. You can set up your reoccurring payments by calling 1-303-651-8664. You can also set up reoccurring payments by logging into your online account and going to the “Update Profile” section. From there you will go to, Sign up for reoccurring payments. A third way that is available for customers to pay using their credit and debit card is for them to call the office and pay over the phone. They can also visit Longmont’s Civic Center Complex at 350 Kimbark Street. The fourth option is for customers to call the voice automated system. This system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For this service you will need your account number your credit or debit card and a touch tone phone. Rotary phones will not work with this system. For this service customers can call 1-3-3-774-4370 and chose option 4 for English. Spanish speaking customers may call 1-303-774-4370 option 4 then option 3
Electronic Bill Payment
A free service that Longmont Utility offers their customers is electronic bill payment. This allows them to have their bill payment directly deducted from their checking accounts. Customers can sign up for this service by returning an Authorization for Pre-Arranged Utility Payments along with a voided check with their utility bill. Your application may take 30 days to process. You will be sent a statement each month about ten days before the payment is to be deducted from your account. This allows you time to review your bill with any questions or concerns. To be able to view and print your authorization form, customers will need to have adobe PDF reader installed on their computers.
Longmont’s Utility office allows their customers to set up for budget billing. Knowing what your bill is going to be each month allows you to be able to manage your finances. As long as your accounts are in good standing and are not in discontinued status, you are eligible for budget billing. You should have at least 6 months of account service to be eligible for Budget bulling plan. This plan applies to all utilities. To apply for budget billing fill out this form and post it back to the company’s address with your next months bill.
If you prefer you can have your bill sent to you electronically. You will be able to view your statement that is emailed to the address you provide. To sign up for paperless billing simply log in to your account and go to update profile and then billing options. From there you will select “E-mail notifications and/or paperless billing” for questions and concerns regarding paperless billing or electronic notifications you can call customer service at 1-303-651-8664
Pay by Mail
Customers may continue to pay their bill by Mail. Longmont will mail your statements to you each month. You can then return your payment using a check or money order to the Utility Billing Office at:
